About College

The social and cultural province of Qingdao is home to Qingdao University, which has introduced both rich conventional customs and the energy of the contemporary. It overlooks the Yellow Sea and is tucked below Fushan Peak. Even before this institute came into place, the Dedicated Advanced Learning University in Qingdao was founded in 1909. This place which is a home of medical studies has undergone various changes from a medical school to Qingdao Medical Specialized School. In 1924, one university namely Private Qingdao University was set up.

Qingdao Medical Specialty School as well as National Shandong University united in 1946 to become Medical School, which was eventually split from National Shandong Institute in 1956 and renamed Qingdao Medical School. Qingdao University began to be rebuilt in 1985 after Shandong University relocated to Ji’nan in 1958. After spending two years under the names Qingdao Textile Professional School and later Shandong Textile Industry School, the 1950-founded Qingdao Textile Technical School changed its name to Shandong Textile Engineering and Fashion Institute in 1978. The 1951-founded Qingdao Teachers Training University went through several stages before changing its name to Qingdao Teachers University in 1981. Prior names included Qingdao Work-study Programs Teachers Institute and Qingdao Normal College. After years of change and reworks, it has now emerged as a multi-discipline university offering a range of courses and subjects. Hongwei GAO is the dean of this university.

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology.
