Weifang Medical University, located in Weifang, Shandong Province, China, is a public medical university under the administration of the Ministry of Education. It has a vast and rich history of over 70 years.

Weifang Medical University was founded in 1951 and was initially named Weifang Medical College. It is one of the key universities in Shandong Province approved by the Ministry of Education. The university boasts the authority to grant Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as well as enroll international students. In collaboration with Shandong University, Southern Medical University, a nd Huazhong University of Science & Technology, it is also permitted to accept applications for Ph.D. candidates. The university has a campus area of about 1.3 million square meters, with more than 40 buildings, including teaching buildings, dormitories, libraries, gymnasiums, stadiums, etc.
