Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) is a private, not-for-profit, self-supporting institution established in 2021 by the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust. It is a part of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University. The founder and managing trustee of the Trust, Shri. A. Srinivasan, serves as the inaugural chancellor of the University. The institution aims to provide excellent medical education and healthcare while nurturing students as complete human beings.
The college buildings are designed to offer students an exceptional educational environment. Spread over 25 acres of green campus, the college features modern labs, one of the largest academic libraries in the region, and technologically equipped classrooms with air conditioning. MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college.
