The education my child received at Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences far exceeded my expectations as a parent. My daughter Aaradhya Patel is a student there, and the faculty has done an excellent job of teaching her and molding her into a skilled doctor.
–Parent of Aaradhya Patel, a medical student at Kodagu State University, Shalini Patel.
I just earned my MBBS from Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences and can attest to the quality of their medical education program. The faculty, especially Dr. Vikram Sharma, has been critical to my development as a medical student and my success in navigating the demanding coursework.
The institution has excellent facilities that promote the study, such as well-stocked classrooms, libraries, and labs. The clinical rotations at the linked hospitals were critical in helping me get experience treating patients and refining my clinical abilities.
— Ravi Kumar, a Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences graduate with a medicine doctorate.
Currently enrolled in the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, I have conflicting emotions about my time here. On the one hand, Dr. Nandini Gupta and the other teachers are experts in their fields and care about their students’ success. They work hard to ensure students fully understand even the most challenging medical subjects.
The institution has excellent facilities, including a well-stocked library and state-of-the-art labs. The campus is a pleasant place to study, and the dorms are clean and well-maintained.
However, the institution should do a better job of coordinating its classes. There have been times when unexpected schedule changes have thrown a wrench into our studies. In addition, there is only sometimes enough time to focus on personal development and branch out into other areas of interest.
