MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. Campus: The 73-acre campus of Sree Mookambika Medical College features stunning scenery and houses college buildings acquiring 20,109 sqm. On a 34,903 sqm plot of land, the Medical College Hospital and OPD buildings are located, while hostel blocks occupy the remaining portions. The Government Medical College features a separate residential complex with more than 32,333 square meters for students and staff.
Laboratories: Two 500 square meter examination rooms with a combined capacity of 250 individuals are available at the SMMC. This medical college contains a total of six halls for lectures. The air-conditioned auditorium is sixty thousand square feet, has a wide stage, and can accommodate 2500 people. Each of the five lecture halls in the college building can accommodate 120 students.
Library: The institution is also equipped with a library with 25 computers in its e-library department, 19,000 medical textbooks overall, 70 Indian periodicals, and 70 foreign publications.
