DMSF Offers A 4-Year Medical Degree Program That Leads To A Doctor Of Medicine (MD) Degree. The Program Is Divided Into Two Phases: Basic Sciences And Clinical Clerkship.
During The Basic Sciences Phase, Students Are Taught The Fundamental Concepts Of Medicine, Including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, And Behavioral Sciences.
The Clinical Clerkship Phase Involves Hands-On Training In Various Clinical Specialties, Including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics And Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, And Family Medicine.
Bachelor of Science in Biology (BS)
The BS Program At DMSF Is A 1.5-Year Program Distributed Over Four Trimesters And Covers A Wide Range Of Topics In Biology, Including Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Ecology, Evolution, And Biodiversity. The Program Also Includes Laboratory Courses, Where Students Gain Hands-On Experience Conducting Experiments, Analyzing Data, And Using Modern Laboratory Techniques.
In The First Trimester Of The Program, Students Are Introduced To The Basic Concepts Of Biology, Chemistry, And Physics. In The Second Trimester, They Study Advanced Topics In Biology, Such As Genetics, Microbiology, And Animal And Plant Physiology. In The Third And Fourth Trimesters, Students Specialize In A Particular Area Of Biology And Take Elective Courses Tailored To Their Interests And Career Goals.
