MBBS Course

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.

DMSF Offers A 4-Year Medical Degree Program That Leads To A Doctor Of Medicine (MD) Degree. The Program Is Divided Into Two Phases: Basic Sciences And Clinical Clerkship.

During The Basic Sciences Phase, Students Are Taught The Fundamental Concepts Of Medicine, Including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, And Behavioral Sciences.

The Clinical Clerkship Phase Involves Hands-On Training In Various Clinical Specialties, Including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics And Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, And Family Medicine.

Bachelor of Science in Biology (BS)

The BS Program At DMSF Is A 1.5-Year Program Distributed Over Four Trimesters And Covers A Wide Range Of Topics In Biology, Including Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Ecology, Evolution, And Biodiversity. The Program Also Includes Laboratory Courses, Where Students Gain Hands-On Experience Conducting Experiments, Analyzing Data, And Using Modern Laboratory Techniques.

Eligibility

The Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF) In The Philippines Has Specific Eligibility Requirements That Students Must Meet To Be Considered For Admission. These Requirements Include:

  • Entrance Exam: Students Must Qualify For The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Conducted By The National Testing Agency (NTA) To Be Eligible For Admission. Interestingly, DMSF Does Not Require A Very High NEET Score For Admission. Just Scoring The Pass Mark Is Enough.
  • Minimum Marks: Students Must Secure A Minimum Of 50% Marks In Their 12th Standard Examination In Physics, Chemistry, And Biology (PCB) Or Similar Courses.
  • Birth Certificate: Students Will Also Be Required To Submit A Photocopy Of Their Birth Certificate In The Regional Language When Applying. However, It Must Be Converted To English Before Applying For Visa.
