Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), a proud member of the Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) family, oversaw the establishment of the Dr. Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education and Research (CDSIMER). The 140-acre DSU campus is situated in the Harohalli neighborhood in the greater Bengaluru area. Comprehensive facilities for education, research, and patient care are provided by CDSIMER.
The Institute will be a part of a brand-new, 1,350-bed hospital equipped with cutting-edge technology to support the education of future physicians. These young doctors will receive training to become some of the top specialists in the world with a desire for helping people, especially the sick and the less poor. The hospital’s 300-bed first phase formally opened to patients in the second half of 2019.
More than 22,000 students are currently served by the five campuses of DSI, which was founded by the late Sri R. Dayananda Sagar in the early 1960s and has grown to be an important player in the field of education. The Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Education Trust (MGVP) oversees the Bengaluru-based DSI, which has enabled tens of thousands of young Indian and international students to pursue professions in a range of specializations.
MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.

Campus- Spread over an area of 140 acres, the campus also has CDSIMER, Hubli.
Lab- The laboratory has updated equipment so that the students can learn easily.
Library- Well-stacked library with books on different medical subjects. 350 people can sit in the library which also has Wi-Fi and LAN facilities.
Clinical rotations- Clinical rotations are available, providing students with hands-on training and exposure in a range of departments at partner hospitals.
Hospitals- State-of-the-art hospital helps to train future doctors before they practice outside.
Hostels– Separate hotels with well-furnished rooms are available for boys and girls. 24-hour security guards and CCTV cameras are installed for increased safety of the students.
Food- The cafeteria serves high-quality food to the students.
Transportations- The medical college is located in Kanakapura, a former part of Bangalore Rural District, in the Ramanagara district of Karnataka. It is connected to the Banglore Mysore Road (NH-275).
From Kempegowda International Airport, Chandramma Dayananda College is only a 2 hours 32-minute vehicle ride away.
Likewise, it takes just 45 minutes by train to go to the college from Ramanagaram RMGM Railway Station, and it takes 43 minutes by bus to get there from Ramnagara Bus Stand.

It is really difficult to find a parking spot at this large university because of the large number of bikes and cars there. Once a person has parked, they cannot remove it without some little damage.
