History

In order to meet the need for high-caliber medical education in the Gulbarga region and beyond, the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) opened the Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Gulbarga in 2013. The college’s campus is 25 acres, and it has cutting-edge amenities.

MBBS Course

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. Campus: Located on the polygonal Gulbarga University Campus, it covers an area of 50.26 acres. It is home to a medical school, hospital, dental school, and nursing school.

Library: The library of the ESIC Medical College occupies 1,746 square meters on the college campus, and it can accommodate 300 students. It has 5,300 volumes, 55 issues of Indian periodicals, and five issues of international journals.

Hospitals: There are a total of six modular operating rooms and four state-of-the-art German-imported equipment in its hospital.

Hostels: The Gulbarga Hostel of Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College is on campus, with a separate building for male and female students.

Food: Cafeteria and mess services are available, including reasonably priced, clean, and well-serviced meals.

Transportations: It takes 15 to 20 minutes to get to the College from the city’s main bus terminal at the KSRTC Bus Station through Sedam Rd.
