Government Erode Medical College & Hospital, Perundurai, formerly IRT Perundurai Medical College, is a prestigious medical institution in Perundurai, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. The college has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1992. It was initially founded as a part of the Institute of Road Transport (IRT), a government undertaking in Tamil Nadu. However, in 1995, it was transferred to the Department of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Since then, the college has been dedicated to providing the community with quality medical education and healthcare services.
