MBBS Course

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.

1. Campus: The hospital campus has a total area of 11.514 Acres of Land. This hospital was upgraded to Government Medical College Hospital in the year 2019. Banks and Post Offices are present within the campus.
2. Faculty Block: The college’s Faculty Block houses the academic channel. It comprises six storeys, each with a lecture hall and air conditioning.
3. Lab: Dissection Room, Skill Laboratories, Practical Labs & Demonstration Halls. 
4. Auditorium: The institution features an auditorium with air conditioning and enough for more than 600 people to hold cultural events and medical conferences. It has built-in audio video and visual assistance to make different functions more enjoyable.
5. Sports & Fitness: The college features a significant field and, in addition to it, an outdoor badminton court, a basketball court and a throwball court for enhancing athletic performance. Football, volleyball, throwball, basketball, badminton, and cricket all have teams. Sports played inside include chess and carrom. A gym is available in the staff housing and the hostels for good exercise.
6. Library: There are more than 3150 volumes in the library, together with 30 journals (20 domestic and ten international). There are air-conditioned Level I and Level II libraries, each with up to 150 pupils.
