Guizhou Medical University is a public medical institution in the Chinese city of Guiyang. It was formerly named the Guizhou Provincial Medical School when it was founded in 1938. The institution has an extensive background of medical teaching and research, with a particular emphasis on preparing healthcare professionals for China’s remote regions. It provides medical, nursing, and public health undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs. 

Li Peisan, a notable Chinese medical instructor and past president of the Chinese Medical Association, founded Guizhou Medical University. Zhang Xiaohui, the present-day dean of Guizhou Medical University, has held this post since 2018. She is a well-known respiratory disease expert who has made significant contributions to the advancement of respiratory health in China. Xiang-chun Shen is the Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Guizhou Medical University, China.

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. We have access to labs with adequate facilities and connected hospitals to acquire real-world knowledge, and the institution places a heavy focus on practical instruction. The campus is well-kept, and the hostels are both comfortable and peaceful. The institution also provides a variety of extracurricular endeavors, such as athletics, music, and art, which have aided in the development of my well-rounded character. Overall, I am very pleased with my time at Guizhou Medical University, and I would suggest it to anybody who is considering a future in medicine.

My daughter is presently a student at Guizhou Medical University, and we are quite satisfied with the university’s educational standards and amenities. The teaching staff is highly qualified and knows what they are teaching. They also keep an eye on each and every student and keep tabs on their progress individually to make sure no one is left behind. Talking about the equipment and apparatus installed in the lab, they are world-class, of top-notch quality, and provide the most accurate observations. One thing I like about the university is their unique approach to making students ready for industry by giving them real-world problems.   

This is my final year in Guizhou University and to be perfectly honest, when I enrolled here I wasn’t sure how the experience would be but after all these years I have come to realize that coming here was one of the best decisions of my life. Institution’s’ LRC is stacked with medical research papers and thesis from experts which we used for our term projects as well as research-based learning. The institution also provides a variety of extracurricular events, which have aided in the development of my entire persona. I wholeheartedly suggest Guizhou Medical University to anybody considering a career in medicine.
