Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital is a leading Punjab Government institute founded in 1973. It is a constituent college of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The institute is near Sadiq Road, Kotakpura, GGS Medical Hospital, Faridkot, Punjab, India. 

Giani Zail Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab introduced medical college to Faridkot . This College was transferred to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, as its constituent Medical College in October 2006. The Medical Council of India recognized it for 50 MBBS admissions per year in 2010. Later on, the College was permitted to increase the MBBS seats to 100 for the academic year 2013- ‘14 onwards 2013 by the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The institute is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. The current principal of the College is Dr Rajeev Sharma.

MBBS Course

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. 6. Food and Accommodation Facilities: Provision for food is available at the cafeteria for both students and patients. The students are provided with accommodation at the hostels. There are separate hostels for a safe stay for both boys as well as girls.
