This institution has been in existence since the early 19th century. During the Maratha era in the later half of the eighteenth century, it began as a modest dispensary known as a First Aid Center on the grounds of the current medical institution. One of India’s top medical schools is SCB Medical College Cuttack. After being upgraded from Odisha Medical School, it was established in 1944, during the pre-independence era.
