About College

The SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital in Sattur, Dharwad, Karnataka, India, is a private medical institution. It was founded by the SDM Educational Society, Ujire, in 2003. The institution is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).

The university provides undergraduate (MBBS) and graduate (MD/MS) medical programs. MBBS is a 5-year curriculum, whereas MD/MS are 3-year programs. The college also offers several paramedical and nursing diploma programs.

Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade is the proprietor of SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Sattur, Dharwad. He is the Dharmadhikari of the Hindu pilgrimage center of Dharmasthala in Karnataka, India. The college is administered by the SDM Educational Society, of which he is the president.

Dr. Heggade is a leader of vision who has devoted his life to serving humanity. He established several educational institutions, including the SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital. The college was founded in 2003 to supply all students with a high-quality medical education.

This course helps me become a better physician. Exams are administered equitably. Exams are administered in a spacious exam room on the fourth floor of our college’s building. Our college offers numerous opportunities for students to develop their abilities. On our campus, there are a variety of sports activities available. In addition, students have access to certain health facilities. Additionally, there is a student welfare agency.

The course is divided into three phases and includes all of the essential aspects of MBBS training. The course curriculum includes topics such as human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, among others.
