Founded in 1891 in Taian, Shandong, China, Shandong First Medical University is now known as the Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences. The campus of Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences) is expansive, spanning over 200 acres with 780,000 square feet of constructed area. There are 2,560,000 books available to students, including 1,170,000 e-books. The institution offers over 230 locations where students can get clinical experience and learn from faculty.

There are 1,500 professors and workers at the university. There are 1,100 total faculty members; 450 are assistant professors or above; 14 get supplemental salaries from the State Council. MBBS Course

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to exceptional overseas students at Shandong University. This grant will help international students at Shandong University finish their degrees. For both Bachelor’s and Master’s level students, this scholarship covers the total cost of tuition and gives a monthly stipend of 700 RMB. A monthly stipend of 1,000 RMB is available to PhD students.

Scholarship Coverage

There are three distinct scholarship offerings at Shandong University.

• First Class Scholarship

First, you must pay for your schooling. Allow Bachelor’s and Master’s level students to receive a monthly stipend of 700 RMB. A monthly stipend of 1,000 RMB is available to PhD students.

• Second Class Scholarship

Annual tuition discounts of fifty percent.

• Third Class Scholarship

Annual tuition discounts of 20%.
