The Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR) is a medical college located in Muddenahalli, Karnataka, with a vision to provide subsidized, Excellent higher education of global standards in order to generate exceptional human resources with bright intellects, caring hearts, and competent hands to effectively contribute to humanity. The institute was founded in 2023. The institute was established in 2023 by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai. The institute is affiliated with the SSSUHE and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The institute aims to establish adequate and best-in-class Infrastructure for the promotion, assimilation, and dissemination of knowledge. The institute follows the curriculum prescribed by the NMC but also integrates human values and ethics into medical education. MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.
