SSIMRC institute was founded by the Keerti Shesha Late Sri H.M. Gangadhariah with a determined endeavor to “Reach the Unreached of the Society.” With an attempt to build an awakened and more intelligent society, SSIMRC is fueled by the passion of another founder Late Dr. G. Shivaprasad. Dr. G. Parameshwara, a reputed agricultural scientist and a former Minister for Higher Education, is currently serving as the Chairman of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education. MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.
