MBBS Course

MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology. The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.

VSAT Scholarship

Students from all walks of life have the option of education thanks to the Vels Student Aptitude Test (VSAT). Nearly 10,000 students, on average, compete for scholarships from all throughout India. The test has three types of questions: verbal, logical, and quantitative aptitude, and it lasts 45 minutes. The scholarship is offered in a range of 10% to 75% waiver in fees, depending on the secured percentage. Outstanding students receive a full fee waiver for the duration of the course.

Merit Scholarship

Students who earned a notable 90–95% in their senior year of high school exams from the State Board and the CBSE are recognised and encouraged by receiving a fee waiver under the Merit Scholarship Scheme. Up to ten qualifying students may take advantage of the fee waiver each year.

First Graduate Scholarship

Education for students from the economically underprivileged segment of society is a priority at Vels University. In order to provide individuals from lower income groups with a quality education, VISTAS presents the First Graduate Scholarship. The 10% tuition fee waiver is available to qualifying students, and they can take advantage of it as long as they pass all of their exams and remain in good standing each year.

Artist Associations Scholarship

People are treated fairly and to the best of Vels University’s ability. The University has big goals for improving the lives of forgotten and underprivileged artists. Through this award, the children of performing artists from low-income backgrounds can achieve their goals.
