A medical college known as Shri Balaji University of Medical Science (SBIMS) is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. SBIMS was founded in 2005 and is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the TamilNadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University. The college provides medical undergraduate and graduate programmes, such as MD, MBBS, and MS.

Shri M.K. Rajagopalan, who is also the head of the Sri Balaji Educational and Charitable Public Trust, founded the college. Dr R. Karpaga Kumaravel, a renowned academician and physician with more than 20 years of expertise in medical teaching and research, serves as the college’s dean.
